Pa amb tomàquet

Pa amb tomàquet, in Catalan, or pan con tomate, in Spanish is a popular Spanish tapa. The dish’s origins lay in Catalonia where it began life as a way to soften hard, dry bread and has since become an iconic Mediterranean dish which many people enjoy on holiday.

“Olivesitting Olive Oil” is the perfect oil with which to make pan con tomate and bring a taste of Spain into your kitchen!

This is an easy recipe which will knock the socks (or possibly more garments if you’re planning a romantic date) off your guests.

Ingredients:

  • Bread: baguette, ciabatta or even slices of regular bread will do!

  • Tomatoes: nice fat juicy ones

  • One clove of garlic

  • A good pinch of sea salt

  • A splash of lime juice for an extra twist

  • And of course, Olivesitting Olive Oil!

Preparation:

First, put on some good Spanish music to get in the mood.
