The Story
In a small Catalan village, at the foot of a hill where renowned architect Antoni Gaudi once sourced stones for the construction of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Milà, lies a beautiful piece of land, dating back to Roman times.
And now, after years of abandonment, new life is being breathed into this unique setting: the ancient olive trees which have been there since time immemorial, have been pruned and nourished into proud and olive-producing trees once again.
Alongside them, a whole new generation of trees have also been planted, resulting in an olive farm which will exist for many more centuries to come and making the current owner no more than a temporary custodian of the trees: an olive-sitter.
